Construction:
Mechanical packing made of 100% pure, virgin PTFE obtained from suspension polymerisation. The PTFE is expanded, oriented and formed to the flexible yarn, which is the raw material for braiding packing in verities profiles and sizes.
Properties:
This packing has the highest chemical resistance of all synthetic fibres, including resistance to acids, strong oxidising media and liquid oxygen also is resistant to UV, IR radiation and aging process. Moreover, it is neutral, sterile material with temperature range up to 260 °C and it has the lowest coefficient of friction on level 0,06. This packing eliminate any risk of pollution or dye system and media, it has the certificate of health quality EU 10/2011 and FDA approval.
Applications:
Designed as gland packing for pumps, mixers plungers in chemical, pharmaceutical and food industry as dynamic seal. It is widely use also for valve and static seals in hygienic applications and everywhere when the health quality certificate is required.
